How to own timeshare at Sun Pacific Villas

Please note that this resort is not suitable for wheelchairs

Sun Pacific Villas timeshare sold out in 1990, but we do have resales available from a few people wishing to sell out. Prices range from around $30000 per week for the prime time "fixed week" large villas (when available), down to $5500 for floating 2 bedroom units, and $2500 for 1 bedroom units, per week. This is a once only cost to purchase the title to a villa for one week per year.  For more weeks per year you buy more titles.  For full details of the price range, contact details are below.

There is an annual levy which is an ongoing charge, per week you own, to cover all the running costs of the resort.  This is $781 or $676 according to the size of your villa for 2012.

The Body Corporate committee has appointed one of it's members, David Barry, to manage the resort's resale programme.  David has had wide experience since 1986 with timeshare and is not a real estate agent.  He is an owner at the resort, and also owns timeshare elsewhere.
He has produced brochures which fully explain how the resort works and all the costs involved in becoming an owner. The content of these brochures is all included in these pages.  He has an in-depth knowledge of most things to do with timeshare in general, and Sun Pacific Villas in particular, and is very happy to chat with, and supply information to, interested folks with no obligation whatsoever.

The usual procedure for purchasing is a deposit on completion of the Sale and Purchase Agreement, with the balance to your conveyancer for settlement day 40 days later, but this can be varied to suit. David does all the paperwork for you (usually by mail) and assembles all the documents required.
There is a conveyancing fee involved as there is a Title Deed transfer to be effected and we recommend an excellent specialist conveyancer, very conversant with timeshare, who does almost all of our timeshare purchases for only $530 (incl GST) if you wish, or you may use your own solicitor but check their fee first. It is a very straight forward transaction and is all done by mail.

Sun Pacific Villas timeshare is excellent value, being a highly popular DAE and RCI Gold Crown resort, which enhances our owners' exchange priority. As you can see, the setting is magnificent, and holidays at the resort are notable for luxurious restfulness, or exciting activity. The facilities are world class and extensive.

Any further information you require is readily available from the resort's resale manager, who is appointed from the committee to provide this service for owners wishing to sell out, and information and backup for those interested in joining the resort. He is a timeshare owner himself with a wide knowledge of timeshare and is not a real estate agent.
